Founder & Chocolatier Peter Svenningsen started making chocolates more than 10 years ago. Early on, he found he had a special love for the dark chocolate ganaches, especially using his unique water-based approach and different creative infusions. Two years ago, Peter started making chocolates full time and started winning international recognition for his work (see the gallery of chocolates and the prizes they’ve won here). Now Peter is joined by Morten Jessen and Svenningsen the Nordic Chocolatier is ready to take off.
Morten has also been working in the chocolate business for a number of years. First through the Danish chocolate society “Chokoladeselskabet”, where he served as a board member and organized the annual chocolate festival in Copenhagen for six years. He later helped establish the Friis-Holm bean-to-bar production line and now finally he has joined ranks with Peter Svenningsen in The Nordic Chocolatier, to realise his vision of elevating and spreading ultimate chocolate experiences to the world.
